When All God's Children Get Together Oooooh! What A Time

   Founded in 1914, the Church of God by Faith (COGBF), Incorporated was blessed to celebrate its 100th anniversary December 2014! The national church headquarters is based in Jacksonville, FL, and is comprised of 17 regional districts and over 170 churches and missions in the United States and South America.  
   The Northeastern District was established in the late 1950s under the leadership of Elder Ivey Patterson, when it was known as the Northern District. The Northern District was not officially recognized by the national church until October 1965, when it became the sixth district in the national organization, and its name was changed to Northeastern District (NED). The NED celebrated its 50th anniversary October 2015! Today, NED is comprised of five churches and two missions located in Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. The NED headquarters is based in Baltimore, MD under the leadership of Superintendent James O. Bivins, Empowerment Temple, COGBF.
